The hotel bar at the Ohla in Barcelona had absolutely fabulous cocktails.
The award winning cocktail list had something for everyone from classic gin tonics to modernist style inventions.
The bar tenders were very friendly and actively showed off their skills.

To this day, my absolute favorite cocktail that no bartender anywhere in the world has been able to recreate is the Bloomsbury fizz which is a layered drink of gin, basil and lemon juice as the base, then a float of port and topped with egg white and soda water. An absolutely beautiful and tasty drink, if anyone can manage to re-create this, please message me and I'll have a very nice gift for you!
After several Bloomsbury Fizzes, I had to try their take on a Manhattan which was aged in Spanish oak barrels and had some sherry in it. Very nice and great presentation!
A cool carafe to keep the rest of the Manhattan cool without diluting it.
The Ohla hotel bar is absolutely amazing and one of my favorites, I wish we had some of these cocktails more spread out in the world!
