After landing at HKG, I saw unfortunately I wouldn't be able to make it to Pirata and decided to check out the Singapore lounge and then spend the evening trying to stay awake at the Plaza Premium lounge instead of getting a hotel.
With the Singapore lounge closing before midnight, I made sure to go check it out. It was pretty clear they were getting ready to shut down for the day, but I was able to grab a drink and snack.
After the Singapore lounge closed, I made my way down the long, long trek to the Plaza Premium lounge. It was a decent lounge, fine enough to attempt to stay awake until my flight in the morning.
As the night dragged on, I pushed through the 3-5am tiredness and next thing I knew it was breakfast. I had a bit to eat although wasn't too hungry.
What I was in the mood for was a shower and nearby they have their shower complex which worked fantastically well and I felt so much better.
I ended up transferring myself to the United lounge which exceeded my expectations based on the stateside United lounges. Also great views for plane spotting
Before I knew it, my UA 77W pulled up and it was time to check out the new Polaris business class.
