Arriving after a too short flight from CMB, I was quickly through customs.
Then transferred from Terminal B to A for the Emirates First Class Lounge (or should I say, terminal?).
Upstairs to the most gigantic lounge ever.
A large and sharp looking reception/check-in area.
Then into the "lounge". The Emirates First Class Lounge spans the entire length of the terminal and almost feels more like a giant private terminal with free food and drinks.
The layout with both sides a mirror of the other.
Plenty of Duty Free shopping and an actually good wine shop.
Heading down the lounge.
A business center with plenty of areas to work and make calls.
Further down, a separate relaxation area.
Then down to the very end and looking back towards the middle.
At the end is a casual dining area.
A bar with snacks, desserts and drinks.
I wasn't hungry, but things looked good.
I then headed to check out the sit down dining area.
Plenty of seating and it goes further than the picture here.
After that I decided to take a couple hours nap in this lounge room.
Despite these seats looking comfortable, they actually weren't, but I managed to catch a bit of sleep.
After waking up, I went to see about having a snack/breakfast. I ended up deciding not to and went to the sit down area for breakfast.
A view looking down into the "terminal".
The dining area with the buffet, plus you can order ala carte.
The menu with lots of good options.
I decided to pick from the buffet because I didn't want to fill up before the 9am flight.
Looking down from the lounge into the terminal and shopping area.
There are large kid play areas in the lounge.
From the lounge you can board directly onto the plane and by each gate were sitting and waiting areas, along with prayer rooms - super cool!
I also checked out the cigar lounge.
It was definitely nice and if you're into cigars, worth checking out.
Then I decided to take a shower to get refreshed before the flight. Nice shower rooms were available.
After that I had an hour to kill and walked around.
Checking out the food options, everything looked great.
And pretty soon it was time to wait by the gate in the lounge for boarding.
The Emirates First Class Lounge at DXB is massive and has everything one could want. With that being said, it was so massive that it didn't feel special like Air France or Swiss First lounges feel. Still, they really thought of everything and I appreciate when there's everything you could want and the staff is incredibly attentive.
