British Airways Budapest to LHR

Updated: Aug 11, 2018

After spending the past couple of days stranded in Budapest (the first time I was glad to be stranded somewhere) due to the "massive" 2cm of snow at Heathrow, it was time to begin the journey home.

After arriving before 5am at BUD, I had to wait for check-in to open at the BA counters.

After check-in, made it through security extremely quickly and to one of the Priority Pass lounges. It was an ok lounge with a basic breakfast spread.

Boarding was quick and efficient with typical Euro-fraud business class. It still blows my mind the Euro carriers can get away with this. At least it was early enough in the morning that it was fine to shove up against the window.

Some cool plane spotting like this Qatar A319.

Smooth climb out of Budapest on our way to Heathrow.

The breakfast spread was decent for an airplane breakfast.

Descent into Heathrow was smooth, there was still some snow cover on the ground, winter is coming.

Smooth landing at Heathrow and time to taxi to T3.

A pleasant intra-Europe "business class" flight, time to head to the Concorde Room and get to the LPGS!
