British Airways Lounge BOS

Writer's picture: BadgerBadger

After finishing up my New York and Boston legs of my business trip, it was time to head to Logan to start my trek to Hong Kong. I arrived around 7:30pm having forgotten that the CX counter didn't open until 9pm. Sigh, at least I had several phone calls to get done so just walked the check-in hall until then.

Yep definitely not open yet.

Luckily right at 9pm the staff moved the signs and opened the counter and I was through within 5 minutes.

I made my way through security and towards the BA lounge, passing the plane that would ferry us back to HKG.

The British Airways lounge is on a 2nd/mezzanine level with Emirates and LH also having lounges there. The BA lounge was somewhat recently remodeled and definitely looked smart.

Upon checking in, I asked if I could shower right away since it'd been a long day and I wanted to get that out of the way before others had the same idea. There were 2 or 3 shower rooms, each were large and equipped well enough.

After a refreshing shower, I found a nice nook to post up since I had a conference call I needed to do and it seemed like nobody else was on this end of the lounge.

Also great to plane spot while taking care of calls.

After my conference ended, I decided to check the lounge out a bit more thoroughly and get a snack. Back towards the front is the food and dining area.

Loved the lighting fixture globes.

The drinks station was very meh.

The food spread was pretty basic.

Yet actually decent quality.

Another seating area.

On the other side a work station area and a coffee lounge area.

Then back to the far end of the lounge where I had found my corner.

It was much bigger and would be good when more open.

A nice bar that sometimes had an attendant.

All in all, the BA Lounge at Boston is solid, it's a totally satisfactory business class level lounge and certainly one of the better lounges in NA. I wouldn't mind killing some time here, but would definitely not actively seek going early.
